Welcome to JerNe Ministries

We are a faith-based organization that strives to be a source of encouragement to women who are disenfranchised and emotionally broken because of incarceration. We also serve as encouragers to women dealing with emotional issues due to past trauma.

Project GROWTH

JerNe has an intensive Discipleship Project, included within Project HOPE, that will equip women who are incarcerated, on probation and those recently released, with the tools needed to grow in Christ on a daily basis. Contact us for more information.

Project HOPE

Emotional Care and Support Course, Project HOPE, is JerNe’s inaugural program that will build up women in a personalized 9-week curriculum that works towards preventing recidivism. This project includes a session on Discipleship.

Project QUEST

Project QUEST a 6-week project derived from Project HOPE, is geared towards the woman who has never been physically incarcerated, but enables her to heal from past hurts such as divorce, the residual effects of single parenting, and those dealing with verbal, mental and emotional abuse.

Project THREADS

Project THREADS is geared towards women who have been incarcerated and lost everything. Having the basics is key to self-worth and self-esteem. Those interested in signing up for Project HOPE can talk with Founder, Kiwanya Tende about the upcoming project, register and attend.
