There are many different types of counselors today. Why should a person seek to be counseled by a Biblical counselor? Biblical Counseling makes sense because God created us and knows what is best for us. He knows all our needs from the biggest challenge to our smallest worry, and He alone can help us to be what He created us to be. When we consider the character and attributes of God, wouldn’t it make sense to go to Him and His Word, the Bible, for guidance and help?

Only God can truly deal with the biggest issues of our lives, and God speaks to us through His word. His Word alone is sufficient. Biblical counseling is dependent on God and the Bible. As your Biblical counselor, I trust in the sufficiency of God’s Word. My hope is to help individuals who are struggling with various situations in life.

Biblical counseling affirms that all humans are created in the image of God, but because of sin, that image has been tainted. My goal is to help you with immediate problems as well as help them deal biblically with future issues.
